Crane Funerals is devoted to exceptional service before, during, and after the Funeral Service, or Celebration Ceremony. As such we guarantee that if you’re not 100% satisfied with any aspect of our caring service, we will make every effort to correct the situation immediately, after you raise your concerns. We will work closely with you to ensure that your requirements are met. If we cannot correct things to your satisfaction, you will be refunded the charge for that particular service item. We hope that this guarantee provides you with some added peace of mind in this difficult time.

No Hidden Fee Guarantee.

Crane Funerals understands that Funeral and Cremation costs in Melbourne can be quite confusing. Some may take advantage of your state of sadness / distress. You may see online – or be quoted over the phone – what seems to be a low price, only to find out there are hidden fees after you make the decision to use a particular Company.

Our No Hidden Fee Guarantee eliminates the guess work and covers:

  • Individual service fees.
  • Merchandise (coffins, urns etc).
  • Cremation / Cemetery fees (following confirmation from crematorium / cemetery).
  • Any cash advance items.
  • Taxes / G.S.T.
  • Third party disbursement fees (following confirmation from the service provider).

We guarantee that the price you see on our site – or that we give you in a written quote – will be the price that you will pay. We are honoured when you choose our Services, and we will do all we can to repay the faith you show in us.

Terms and Conditions:

100% Service Satisfaction Guarantee T&C’s:

  • 100% Service Satisfaction Guarantee applies to all At Need funerals conducted by Crane Funeral Services, within 30 days of the Service / Ceremony date.
  • Refunds only apply to the professional fees charged by Crane Funeral Services. Dissatisfactions applying to third party providers are not covered by this guarantee. We will always endeavour to ensure that any third party service provider (Cemetery, Crematorium, Celebrant, Minister etc), is reputable and will provide you with excellent service, which is always our primary concern.
  • The Guarantee does not apply to reasons outside of our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to extreme weather, or other force majeure events. We will of course work with you to overcome such unforeseen events as quickly as possible, to limit interruptions to the Funeral Service.
  • To claim, you initially need to inform us in a timely manner as to your concerns. Any claim is to be made within 30 days of the funeral service. You will need to provide a copy of the paid invoice in regards to our Service Fees.
  • Any costs such as postage or telephone costs incurred by you during the process of making any claim, are at your own expense.
  • Your usual consumer rights of course still apply in addition to our 100% Service Satisfaction Guarantee. Consumer Affairs Victoria oversee services delivered by Funeral Providers in Victoria.
  • To make a claim, please contact us via our Contact Form, or the contact details below. These claims will be handled personally by Crane Funeral Services Owner / Director, Damian Meehan.

No Hidden Fee Guarantee T&C’s:

  • Covers all costs listed on our website, or which you receive in a written quote from us.
  • No Hidden Fee Guarantee applies to those items listed within the guarantee. This includes third party service providers fees. All fees will need to be confirmed by Crane Funerals before a guaranteed / final quote is provided to you.
  • If we fail to provide an accurate quotation of our Service or coffin fees, we will honour the price we have quoted you.
  • This guarantee is personally endorsed by Crane Funeral Services Owner / Director, Damian Meehan.
